hallo all!

Ive designed this site for a friend who likes runescape; payed me ?10 for the domain and site for a year.

www.runeconference.com ; (X-files template with couple of edited pics etc)

Any constructive critism is welcome

It is a very good site, and it is also a very good skin, very inactive for a great site like that, and it contains loads of graphics, and the forum skin is better than i thought, that must have took a long time to make. I cannot see anyway to improve it in my opinion.

looks nice but the blue dosn't really go well with the red.

The post icons look a bit weird.
Im not sure what they are meant to be.
I havent played runscape for well over a year now, so i may just be missing something

I'm going to be critical from now on judging sites, not to be mean, but to help make a better site:

The Banner at the top is really sucky, the text is bad, and the image is way too stretched. Personally, if he payed you, I wouldn't allow you to put Designed by: so big!

The New and Old icons really suck. You need something more noticable so that people know what they are looking at. You need to make the background fit, you don't want white. If you are going to make a site, don't do it sloppily...

Also, I have to scroll sideways, which is a pain: 800 X 600 Res. Fix that, if you fix the banner, I think that will fix the problem.

sorry if I seem mean, but I'm just pointing out obvious things.

i have to agree with most of that, but it is purely supporttive cristicism not abuse
