Question Please, Review my Web Hosting Site..

For some reason i have been a little paranoid since my company website has not had that many sales within this year. Kinda worrying, so without sales, no one can tell anyone else about the company and what we do.

Due to this we have not been getting many visititors, and we are not that well known.

Is there something wrong with my website? or am i just being silly and have to wait a little longer?

http://www.rsdarkness.com/ is my company URL.

Have you been advertising? or do you rank highly for web hosting terms??

Unless you are out there pushing yourself in front of the people that might require hosting you are not going to get the business.

I have been advertising, through word of mouth, friends in forums, signatures, friends, adwords, other traffic and ad sites.

But i have not had that much, althought i have no more money to advertise.

I am giving away a free package, for a every 4 referals to my company who purchase a business package or more and stay past the 30 day money back guarantee.

I think that this is fair. and also a chance to get people to see more about my company and the good level of service that we provide.

To be honest whats your domain name about ?

The stock template site doesn't do a lot for me.

I am working on getting a new domain, i got that one from a friend a little while back.

The company is a resellers store. So, at 17 , I have not much money to advertisise, or get a new domain and without clients i cannot do much with the business.

I have been working on keeping the domain alive for the current clients we have.

The problem I see is that you are offering a reseller service and there's so many resellers out there that a generic site will just not do it, you need to focus on a specific area and target it. We get very little business via the website (even when it was an up to date design ) most of our business comes via referral.

What is your relationship to velnetweb who have a link on your site? Seems odd to click on a link on a hosting site to get taken to another hosting site

Your signup page goes to duoservers.com and says liquidnet at the bottom of the page - you don't mention anywhere (that I can see) that you refer to another site for signup, this would ring bells if I was buying.

If you want to run a 3rd party reseller scheme, then why not use their API to remain in control or just be up-front about it?

My advice then is don't target professional web developers

If I wanted I could probably have a hosting company up and running in the morning ... (how good it'd be would be another matter and what sort of support and SLA's I could provide would be completely different)

+1

To this I'd add ... if you can't invest some money in it .. then just target your family and so on.

resellers are a dime a dozen as has been pointed out. You may as well just offer a static page with a link to dreamhost signup with your referal code in it. Would be a lot simpler and straight forward and potentially more profitable.

Just a thought (without trying to be to negative), but won't anyone wanting to research you be put off when Google turns up this page in it's results - who'd want to be hosted by a 17 year old without sufficient money to even buy a domain, we're only looking at £15-20 tops to buy a domain?

Ok. You asked...

Template - looks like it cost about $30 or something.

Google Pagerank thing - who cares about your page rank? Will it help you sell more? No

The use of acronyms is really annoying

The welcome text on the site is pointless

Who are we? General information about our company

21000 customers?
53000 domains?

supremecenter.com only hosts a fraction of that on their nameservers, so where are you getting that figure from?

"All web hosting services are provided by Corporate Internet Solutions, a United Kingdom based company, headquartered in Canterbury, Kent"
So where is your company number?
Under EU regulations you have to display it

Why would someone pay a premium for your hosting plans?

What is your unique selling point?

Thanks, I can see that. The template it'self is what the company provide.
All the information there is what they placed so i am pay for the domain and do my checks every now and then.

I do not have much use about it, supremecenter deal with most of it.

I am working on a new design and when i get a few more clients, i shall pay for a brand new site design which should help.
