Review and get WMT

I'm looking for the help of everyone here at WebmasterTalk. You all have a good sense of design and can tell if a website is good or junk pretty quick.

I've got a close friend that has a busniess he runs. He is using his website to sell an online version of a voting system, which he hopes will get people hooked enough to buy the hardware one.

The problem is the ONLY marketing he is doing is using his website and google adwords. He won't listen to any of my suggestions or comments on the website. There's no way he's going to do anything but waste more time if he uses this website.

If you review the site I'll give you 20 wmt. Be honest, I really need to show him what people think of this site so hopefully he'll get someone to desing a good one.

Thanks to anyone that responds, this is really important, he's spent 5 years on this business and not sold anything.

I got an internal server error ...

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request

Did this thread just get posted to the reviews section today?! I checked with the owner and he got only ~120 unique this morning and the hosting company crashed. He's real angry and looking for some paid hosting. Hopefully I'll find something for him soon.

The site will be up soon hopefully. If not I'll mirror the content on one of my sites and have the ads redirected temporarily. Although I'm still looking for a host myself as of present. Thanks for taking your time to try.

Ps. I'm going to set a limit of 500 wmt as my limit that I'll be giving out.

and id edit ypur post (the word pi$$*d isnt generally allowed)

Site looks pretty average (but then again I'm not exactly the best graphic artist

)

I'd suggest the 1,2,3,4 on the left need to stand out more or at least highlight on mouseover.

I'd get a designer to give it a quick update, nothing too flashy though as this will increase page load time and put off people.

The site is actually better than I expected. I'd change a few things though. Fill in the main rectangle with a color...Make the fonts of the buttons on the left a little more fancy, even georgia would look swell there. Also, like monaghan said, give the buttons a rollover effect.
