do you think you could review my new header on my forum, im iffing about it, does it seem out of place or to amateurish - honest answers please!

It looks fine, however I do think that the top of the page is a bit bare maybe you should try to fill it up so it looks more interesting. Either links or something to do with the header would be fine.

i see what you mean about the top being bear. maybe yoyu could centre the image at the top?

I'm not too hot about it, but why did you make the .co.uk smaller? To emphasize the name? I would recomend keeping the same font size and possibly not outlining the text rather just use a different font.
