Lovely layout; loving the icon/header things. But the thicker border at the login screen needs some work as morph says.

*eye twitches. Did you even look at this under any browser besides IE? It renders terribly in Firefox. Firefox usually conforms to the w3c's standards. Run your website through the validator before asking for advice, try and fix what you can. I'm asuming you had photoshop or something render this right?

NOTE: The validator's suggestions aren't always correct if you have the wrong doctype.

On the design aspect, I'm not too happy abou the green background behind the signin box and navigation, as this shows in Firefox very clearly. The icons should be more intuitive so even if I can't read the words the picture should be obvious of where the link goes. Under the glazes link I would have no clue what that goes to or the big red arrow. For buy/sell you probably want a dollar sign or something representing auctions.

I'm sorry to be so harsh but you asked for constructive critsism.

Thanks guys, i have been working on it for a couple of weeks.
Frozendice i have just this morning seen it in firefox and yes it looks terrible. I completly agree with the misrepresentation of the icons at the top, this is just a layout starter thing which i am still working on. I am creating a page a day. A dollar sign sounds like a good idea. I will get rid of the green, been ifing about that for a while.

Thanks again, any other advice would be greatful

It is a wicked layout, i think it is the best site i have ever reviewed on this forum. The only one better is wistow.net and wisnetdesign. Great work there.

Its a nice site, the only i thing that i dont like is that the navigation panel seems to be too wide and i think it would look better if you used a solid border rather than the inset looking one you have at the moment.

There is also a mysterious white box that appears at the top where your logo is, this can be fixed by setting the background color to that nice brown:

change: to:The point i made earlier about the outer border of the table; that only applies to the page when viewed in Firefox

overall, its very good i likw the template most and also just about everything else apart from the forum skin, good job.
