Default Some Missletoe perhaps

I'm not sure if it's possible to put some missletoe on a portal but it would sure make things interesting.

It depends on the target audience. I wouldn't put games on a webmaster portal. Well what kind of portal do you want to make is my question.

On a portal i think the following things would be great;
on the right a links bar (like the existing front page)
At the top in the middle below the links bar a RSS feed or similar
On the left links to sites that would be useful and outside of webmastertalk and also the afflitives link.

I like the idea of an RSS feed.

BMG, if you want an rss feed of this site, you can use http://www.webmastertalk.co.uk/external.php?type=rss2 or you can use the php file at http://www.webmastertalk.co.uk/latest.php

Is there any way I can get an RSS feed from here only from the forums I want them to come from? Like the webmaster forums and not include the general forums and stuff. Other than that I will add an RSS feed onto my site.

http://www.webmastertalk.co.uk/exter...forumids=12,31

That would show the Website Design and the Website Development forums. The forum ids can be found by placing your mouse over the forum title, and it is the number at the end of the url shown in your status bar.
