Testing is basically making sure all the links work as you expect and that you have all the content in place and accurate.

When you're happy with it, then publish to your site (your designer software will probably be able to do this for you if you give it the ftp details)

If it's a commercial site, then I'd get a few people to give it a once over as well before publishing.

You'll need a domain name and a host (you could possibly host it in your own PC, but that may violate your ISP's TOS and leave your PC open to hacking - not reccomended)

Once your host has created your account and associated yoru domain name with it, then you use an ftp client (many graphical ones about - I use Filezilla) enter the ftp details (your host will advise these) and fire up the web site files to your host and then your site is visible to all

Of course if you need a host, then feel free to ask about our offerings

If you have a host, then I'd suggest using their technical support, they can access the server and resolve your issues, no-one on a public forum will have that level of access.
