Default Alternative to Paypal for CC transactions

I'm looking for a company that can accept credit card orders from my clients and pay it directly to a bank account. We lose sales because people get lost trying to use paypal, they signup, go through tons of garbage then alltogether forget it because it's too much hastle. So we tried a company like this but they take upwards of a month to get the money to our account. Can anyone recomend something? I'm making the page right now, so I am going to make the front end, so if there's a system which I can just pass the info to and it can handle the payment that would be awesome.

If you have a business account with PayPal, then you can accept card payments without the user having to signup.

If you're in the UK you can do the same via nochex.com

You'd need to extract the money from PayPal or Nochex manually.

Failing that, you're looking at a merchant account, but you're looking at high costs and probably long delays in you bank account being credited as most banks see Internet trading as very high risk.

Good luck with your search.

Worldpay provide a complete solution, secure payment page, card authorisation and transfer to your account but you're looking at something like ?300, not sure about setup fees as I've not looked at their service for a long time.

If you've got your own merchant account with a bank (could be ?200+ per year to run) then you can have an account with protx.com (?20pm) which just handles the online authorisation of the card and batch processing each night of your credit cards.

Over $300 is way to expensive. The problem with paypal is that, it's hard to find how to pay without signing up. Clueless users end up signing up since that's the first thing they see. I wish bidpay still worked.

The problem is risk, that's why non-PayPal type of accounts are expensive to run. If there was a cheap alternative, then we'd all be using it.

I'm surprised that your users are signing up to you, but have difficulty with PayPal, I would have thought that most uses sufficiently clued up to know they want hosting would have come across PayPal before.
