Thumbs up Purely democratic forum

I've been thinking of an idea whereas a forum is managed by the posters. Where polls would be used to create rules and if a rule was broken the rulebreaker would have a chance to defend themselves followed by a poll where members could vote.

There would be monthly admins with the power that was granted to them by the posters. That means that even if your the admin for that month you only get the powers individualy granted to you by the posters. Also the posters could rally against a bad "government" by being able to do such things as opening threads, creating forum sections, giving special titles, etc. by popular vote.

Alot of this would be work on the polls which would be used for the majority of this.

If not for anything else this idea might just be facinating from the human social interaction.

Hmmm. Maybe I should take sociology then I could just do this for a project.

EDIT: I guess I should have called it a "direct democracy" to distinguish(where is spellcheck?) it from a republic.

not very hard at all, just make more polls and give mods less power, simple

If someone makes this send me a link. As of right now I have almsot no knowledge of changing stuff in forums, as I've never really hacked up any of their scripts.
