i am going to start a website about dolphins and i don't know what to make the banner look like i will be using photoshop for designing and flash mx for animations

I use some freeware software to make my flash stuff, have you tryed GIMP yet?

i would say take a look at other sites that are related to dolphins to get a rough idea of how others have their banners before you decide on how you want yours to look like

To make banners I always use Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004...If you go to http://macromedia.com you can download a free 30 day trial...let me know if you need any help!

I always use Xara & ulead. it is very easy. No programing knowledge required!

It is very easy. Also they offer 15 days trial.
