Default Html will get you placement

Html is the language the search engines spiderbots know best and I want to make as easy for them to give my website top placement as I can.

I prefer Php with a .htaccess / mod_rewrite combination so that php files are read as static html files (log out and hover over a forum name, you will see it is /forum-1.html but when logged in it is /viewforum.php?f=1)

Best of both worlds!

Heck Robertall If you can mix different languages in the same sentence I guess we can mix different languages on different pages. Just kidding!

I think "languges" is Portuguese or Dutch.

If you add a meta tag into the <head> html code of your site that reads:

<meta http-equiv="CONTENT-LANGUAGE" content="fr, en">

the spiders will index your page for both English and French words. If you don't include this they will just look for words in the default language and not recognize any foreign words.

http://woodfloorist.com/1/fr/index.html places for French words on both French Canadian and France search engines for French words.

definitely PHP, easy and simple but very effictive. It is very powerful and I really want to learn more of the language... It can make very very neat and clean things like a bulletin board or whatever. Great language

I would guess so, as long as your server can process multiple server side languages. You need to make sure you put PHP tags round the PHP & ASP tags round the ASP rather than generic script tags.

If I get time I'll give it a try on a dev box some time.
