| Super Moderator | Search engines are more than happy with pretty sites, what they are looking for is well presented content. Remember that they can only read HTML, you need to present your content as well structured (ideally validated). Try presenting the 101 suggestions as an HTML list and add a few headers so the search engines can see what you're trying to get over to the visitor, as it stands, it could appear just like a huge link farm. I'd also ditch the tables and in-line styles and do the layout and formatting in CSS, but that's just my opinion

| Super Moderator | You already have a link to an external style sheet Code: <link rel="stylesheet" media="screen" href="scripts/template.css"> Code: <ol class=mylist> <li>.... <li>.... </ol> Code: .mylist {
font-family: georgia;
font-size: 100%;
}
Grab yourself a copy of the Sitepoint.com book HTML Utopia: Designing Without Tables Using CSS, this will help in your understanding of CSS

| Newbie | CSS is good to improve your website. But if you want your website to achieve higher position on google or simply appear on search engines, it is not enough. And pretty sites with nices pictures on it are surely not enough. As search engine do not see the pictures, use alt tags to describe your pictures so they can be "seen" by the search engines. This is just one sample of what can be done to achieve higher position on search engine. If you are looking for a good seo agency, go to http://www.whitehatmedia.com |

| Newbie | My advice about alt tags is: You should describe the pictures with relevant keywords and not put the same keywords in all the alt tags. Cramming all the alt tags with the same keywords could harm your site. http://www.whitehatmedia.com |
