Hi,

Please can somebody give a hand with this? I have my site in dreamweaver and from there everything works fine. However when I upload it to the server and I go into a page all the links seem to be broken, I can?t see the images etc. WHY?

An example:

C:\Documents and Settings\Ivan.USUARIO-33CA7C0\Configuraci?n local\Temp\Copy of mods_kits.htm

It's because you are using direct urls in dreamweaver, instead of relative
In dreamweaver you need to go to Site -> Edit Sites. Then choose the site which you are working on and click on Edit. This will open a new screen. From here, simply set the Local Root Folder to the folder where all files for that site are saved.

This should correct all urls to /pagename.htm

Alternatively, you could hand-code all the links etc as this ensures you know exactly what is going on

I'm not suggesting you should go away, we try to help where we can.

However surely you'd get quicker response from calling the dreamweaver product support line or visiting their support site rather than a general webmaster forum.

Please hang about and contribute in other areas, perhaps even write up some answers to your questions and share the knowledge ?
