monaghan do you have any stats of uptime, or other testimonials that you could offer to show me that your accounts could handle high demand? Server stats also? Would be nice to have a host which you know you can contact.

What do you classify as high demand ? Your original request was 100Mb/1Gb/month, this is not exactly high demand (unless you intend to do this in the 1st day !)

If you're wanting to thrash a system, then the budget end of the market is not really where you want to be, we can of course set you up on a server on your own, then you can thrash it, but that's not a cheap option.

Uptime so far has been 100%, however I have no public monitoring (I used to, but never had a request for the data so let the monitoring contract die )

The load average at the time of writing this is 0.07, which is actually unusually high, all of my customers are a quiet bunch and tend not to say much, so there's no testamonials (well I guess I could make some up to be like the average kiddie host if you'd like !), I get the occasional support call, but generally my customers don't have any issues, very occasionally there's a genuine issue, however most are advise & guidance calls or customer error.

I was wondering about high demand because I'm looking to recomend a host to a friend who has a business that will probably grow somewhat. Thanks for the info.

As we run our own Linux systems (we could run Windows as well, just don't have the demand at present ), then we can easily expand an account as it grows, even to the point where they need their own server if needed.
