| WMT Addict | I have a website that is hosted on a free hosting site, i have a domain that i am pointing to the site, can i still build up page rank and seo for the search engines just as well, or do these engines penalise you in some way? What are the limitations of having a domain that is pointed to another url, possibly framed as well. |

| Super Moderator | How are you pointing it ? If you're using the parked or add-on domains in cPanel (or other panel), then you should be fine, if not, then I guess it's doing a traditional redirect, some engines are happy with these redirects, others not. Suggest you find out what the "point" mechanism is, then do a searc round some of the SEO forums to get the general opinion for the engines you're hoping to index you.
