Default Which SEO Company??

I have an very large online shop and I want to optimize it but don't have the time to do it myself. The net is full of optimization companies but I have no idea where to start. There have been quite a few reports of bad companies.

Can anyone recomend a few companies for me please.

Thanks,

What's the shop created in ?

What's your budget ? SEO is a time consuming job and you're going to be paying a skilled person for a long time if you want good results.

A good SEO company will give you advise and probably allow you to pay in stages as each SEO step is complete.

The shop is created in EROL, the front page is in Dreamweaver.

I'm not sure of the budget exactly yet but at the moment we are spending around ?10,000 per year on advertising the site, pay per clicks etc. To pay in steps would be ideal.

I don't know EROL.

Make sure that whoever does this focusses on the text & natural langauge used as there are far too many "cowboys" who will simply use the current set of tricks to get round the current google algorythms, however these can simply be negated overnight with an algorythm change and you'll need constant revisits for the site to keep on top of this.

Personally, I'd suggest investing the time in getting to grips with the techniques and then any site additions will simply fall into your current SEO schemes rather than having to re-optimise the site each time.

For some good (free ) advise (and paid SEO services if you require), try http://www.highrankings.com.

You'll be better off in the long run if you learn how to do the SEO yourself as you can transplant that knowledge into future requirements & projects.

Even if you use your SEO budget for a bit of SEO consultancy and training, it'll be better than simply handing over hard earned cash for a 1 off SEO sweep of your site

SEO = TIME and lots of it hence my suggestion to get to grips with the concepts now and save time / money in the future.

If you've got a big site, then any SEO that does a "proper" job will take time.
