Default Spedy Connection - register work

When anyone uses internet they forexample have 56k they don't all of it. They use only 17k of it. that is quite low. But you can increase it to best preformance. Data is sent over the internet in packages. What this tutorial will show you is how to increase the size of the data package to it's optimal.

Firstly get into register by going to : start>run and type "regedit"

Then browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Tcpip\Parameters\
Interfaces\[Adapter ID].

After you find that creat a new DWord value give it the name of MTU and a suitable value from the list below that corrosponds to what you have.

56k => 576
PPPoE broadband =>1492
Ethernet, DSL and Cable Broadband =>1500

(if you don't know your adapter id then just add it to all the folders there).

I hope this help someone somewhere.

Why are people still using 56k in this country?, apart from people not affording broadband?, and most people i meet with a 56k connection usually are paying more than bb users for example AOL 56k ranges from montly flat fee 15.99 to 6.99 fee pay as you go i get 1 mb unlimited bb for 9.99? there all over charging for 56k, ? utter ripoff most of them..
