Hello All,

Newbie here,Sorry,I hope this right rooms to ask my dumb question.

I have more than 270.000 articles .php links/pages on my old site. And few a days ago I buy CMS scripts (writen in PHP) from evo-dev.com for made easy my work to manage the links and contents, because I manage all in past time with manually. So no database just add pages and links.

My question is,how to made/transfer/covert ( or whatever it called ) with all my links into database and running at my CMS scripts properly, and then if someday I move to other server,I just made back up it.By the way this CMS scripts only generate and import page in .html format ?

What must I do folks?please help me, I want run my site soon.If must to do with manually I think will hurt ,Is there any programs/scripts to made the job easy to do?

Just let you know I only know a little about PHP scripts. So I hope your advise is simple and I hope your little help can resolve my problem.

Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Ed

Looks like you bought the wrong script then, lots of work ahead, perhaps write yourself a query to read your site source files and extract the links then insert into the CMS database.

You have a lot of work on your hands

Does your current system store the data in a database or are they hard coded links ? If it's a database, then a quick conversion query wouldn't be too much work.

We charge ?40+vat/hour for consultancy, but you might get a kiddie programmer for much less.
