I want to find a way to look up a HTML page's source code.
If any other functions go with it suchs as searching for codes in the results, etc, please post them.
It would also be gratfully thanks if you link me to the page on the official maunal.

Right click & select View Page Source ?

Or did you want to open a page directly into a php variable so you can process it, then you want fopen - see http://uk.php.net/function.fopen. Alternatively use CURL - see http://curl.haxx.se/

Nah. It's quite obviuos I know how to look up a souce code in the browser. I want PHP to view the source code of another website's webpages and be able to retrieve in down into a database.
