One of my bigger sites in the UK does a fair bit of PPC marketing. They don't use Yahoo however ... they used but not for months now. The volume of users coming from yahoo these days is actually quite small. (I think it was around 6% ... organic traffic on the site)

I know however the UK market still tends to use yahoo quite a bit ... but from what I'm seeing its declining

I think the pricing would depend on your market niche ie. how many other people are competing against you.

Google currently dominates the search engine business. If you can only afford advertising on one service, this would be the one you would have to go with.

Yahoo and MSN are second and third. After that you get a whole lot of specialized services that try hard to take searches away from Google, but don't do a very effective job of it.

Just be careful. It's easy to spend so much money on Google that you literally go broke in your attempt to secure customers. Make sure you carefully place limits on how much you are willing to pay on any given day. Go slowly and grow your business as a pace that your can accommodate.

Google is top dog, all the rest are not really comparable. I would use them but they banned me forsome reason.

Try to target PPC on Yahoo. Your conversion rates will be better as compared to Google.

Although it has low share of traffic, but it can still bring several potential clients

Google gives better conversion than Yahoo. That's it.
