A new search engine that I built

Howdy,
I just finished reading this book on PHP and SQL and have built my first project, a small search engine called Haystack. I just launched about a month ago at www.haystack.tk and have quite a few people coming already. I spread word around town about my project and everyone came to the library to check it out. Pa was proud as punch. Anyone who wants to put their site on my search engine free is welcome. Putting your site in is simple; all you have to do is fill out the form.

the site looks quite good but i noticed a few spelling and grammatical mistakes

its very boring and i hate the ads everywhere, maybe get a proper domain and hosting.

yea, i must agree with tom, it is boring and the ads are a definate draw back, go to www.namecheap.com and have a look for domains there and go to www.tamranda.com to get really cheap hosting.

It is quite good, however, it has a .tk domain, which makes the site worth nothing, and it also has loads of annoying ad,s i added my site...

Sigh, the ads are a definate drawback. When I hover over a link like "home" and the image changes the text is a little obscured because its compressed. Its good for a practice in learning php and sql but not practical. Sorry. You need to build a crawler, http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/spiderhks/index.html A friend and I started to build one after reading this book but its really difficult.

The honest truth about this: dont' expect much from it. Sorry
