Thread: Franklyn is the name and wood floors is my game

This looks like a great place to exchange ideas with other webmasters. I'm located in Centralia, WA It rains here most of the time.

I have been working on my website since November of 2001. My brother says it's like going to the Museum of Natural History ....Too much to take in with one visit. The search engines seem to like all the unique content.

Every time I think I have the search engines figured out they change the rules. I am always looking for new traffic exchanges and reciprocal links.

I've been working on my website for over 4 years now. Check out some of the ideas I added down in "Impressing the Search Engines" Let me know if you use those ideas and add some I forgot.

I need to find a good image of a fireman with a hose to keep water on that counter.

Craig, I think Paul was referring to what I did to my counter. My host kept resetting it to Zero which after about the forth time gets a little annoying so I saved an image of all the numbers, uploaded them to my site and put several numbers in front of the counter.

at first glance this makes it look like my site has over 452 million visitors. The actual counter is the last four digits. You would be surprised at how many people refresh the page now just to see if the counter moves which it does. My host doesn't give me any stats on how many people think," Really? ...WOW thats a lot of visitors"

I then added a caption under the counter which reads

Actual number of visitors....(in larger letters )

I'd like to see visit this website (in smaller letters)

Just another example of my warped sense of humor which can be found throughout the website.
