Default The perfect user environment
Well i figure why not make a WMT perfect original OS, well just for fun.
So in each post we contribute one feature the os can have and in a week maybe we might have a decent os going, no need to be techy just nice features.

--I say a word processor

Why would an OS have an application in it ?
An OS is the interface between the hardware and the application. You put your word processor on top of the OS.

If you want stability, then you'd probably be better with a *BSD kernel as this is supposed to be far superior to Linux. You also want to strip out all the "added features" people try to add on. This will lead to cleaner code with less to go wrong.

This would then make for a solid platform to build a server or desktop environment on.

Reading back over this, I guess I've just described MacOS X
