Default You counted them?

You actually counted how many bugs you have on your system? I use Macafee and Spysweeper to handle most of my problems. I don't know where to get these programs for FREE tho. That was the first step when I got my new computer. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I also noticed that I was getting a lot of "crackers" (those are the bad guys) getting into my system when I was using a lot of low level traffic exchanges. I now use the computers at the public library for Surfing traffic exchanges. They have better virus protection than I could afford and they don't store anything on their harddrive which eliminates 99.9 % of the problem to start with.

maybe do as I did, just merge to Linux but if this solution isn't for you Adaware(was adviced in the post above), firewall(I've good experience with Outpost) and some antivirus should solve most of your trobules.

Adaware, Spysweeper and NAV are your friends. Dont run them all at the same time though... God it gets slow.

what is up with that why do you have so many

micosoft antispyware, ad-aware and nortons are the best haveing all of them running must slow your computer. just cause you have all those dosnt mean your computer is bug free and formating every so often is good but not needed it only clean up the crap thats on your computer. it is also good to have a firewall i recoment sygate personal firewall.
