| Senior Member | You actually counted how many bugs you have on your system? I use Macafee and Spysweeper to handle most of my problems. I don't know where to get these programs for FREE tho. That was the first step when I got my new computer. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I also noticed that I was getting a lot of "crackers" (those are the bad guys) getting into my system when I was using a lot of low level traffic exchanges. I now use the computers at the public library for Surfing traffic exchanges. They have better virus protection than I could afford and they don't store anything on their harddrive which eliminates 99.9 % of the problem to start with. |
