Google applications

Have been doing some reading on the web about google building a web browser? and even a operating system. Is this all old news and if their applications are as good as their search engine what could the implications be?

Been hearing some rumous about them implimenting a music search, like the image search.
Isnt there aready sites that have music search? I was told the other day of a website that will find lots of samples from a particluar song all over the net and put it together to build the full version! cant remeber the name of the site. Will find out because i havent actually used it.

What is a browser programmed in? C?

A browser can be programmed in anything you like ! Generally C/C++/C# seems to be used for most projects these days.

Google OS was hinted at a while ago, more recently there has been a suggestion of a Google / Sun tie up to take on Microsoft's Office product by offering OpenOffice.Org

Collecting portions of a copyrighted file like a song and assembling to make a single file, is most probably violation of the copyright and therefore not within the spirit of this forum, so I'd suggest you move the discussion of this elsewhere

i've read somewhere that there rumors that Google were going to make a browser but they were proved to be false
