Default Google Ads

Hi

When viewing forums, you will notice that a 468x60 google text advert will appear after the first post.

I have implemented this as a means to raise some extra ??? to contribute to the costs of running this site, such as server costs etc.

What are your thoughts on this? I chose the text ad option as it is less intrusive compared to banner ads, and google serve ads which are relevant to the topic. This means ads will (hopefully!) be more appealing to visitors of each topic.

Also, if you could vote in the poll so I know your thoughts it would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Craig

Default I personally like to sell space directly

I like to sell advertising space directly to the advertiser. Gives me a little more control. You won't find Google ads on any of my websites.

Default I've heard that

I've heard it pays well. You poll should include an option "Would prefer not to see Google ads"

Ads need to be used, I need the financial assistance that they bring, unfortunatly.
I have tried to make them as user-friendly as I could.

I thought Google does not allow users to run GoogleAds on forums?
