Default Forget about impressing Search engines

When it comes to SEO, my approach is really simple. Build my site so it is best for my visitor. Add lots of unique content. I have found that if you build a website that is visitor friendly it usually is search engine friendly.

Do you know what the #1 product to sell online is?

I do training on how to get paid for building websites. Join this forum with the link near the bottom of this page for more details.

Win a FREE domain name...Ask me how.

Make webpages using different formats. Here are some ideas:

1)Convert an email and your response to a visitor into a webpage. This results in lots of unique content and has lots of relevant keywords. Then put a link to this page on your main page.

2)Convert an instant message into a webpage. This creates a ton of unique content with lots of keywords. Add a link to it from your main webpage.

3) Make a webpage around each of your pictures. Not only does this create unique content but some people search for images. All these unique content webpages also give you a lot of space to reciprocate links. These pages work lots better than link farm pages.

4) Put links to related websites so that you can put the keywords associated with that site on your website. The text for the link to the site below on my website is "Soft Paws are nail caps that glue to your DOG'S nails protecting your hardwood floors against scratching." Notice the keywords in this link. Is this important to my visitors? You bet!

5) Link back to the search engines. Everybody talks about reciprocating links but do you have a reciprocating link back to Google for all the links they have pointing at you? The first picture on my website links to the link below.

6) Try some really unique content. Check out this url below:

(Whoops did I forget to mention making websites for your local towns?)

7) Use your guestbook. Did you know this one of the most underused pages for getting visitors to your website? In fact some people don't even have a guestbook. Your visitors are adding unique content all the time. The Search Engines index content on guestbooks. They LOVE unique content and it is the only way they can find some of the newest websites being added to the internet.

Here's the sad part. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to do a search and one of the matches is a guestbook. It's a guestbook to a website that I can tell has information I am looking for by the content of the way people are signing it. There is however no link to the homepage. Please please put a link to all your pages on your guestbook. See my guestbook for how this works. If you have some spare time count how many keywords are on my guestbook and let me know.

(My guestbook is currently not allowing signing as it was getting abused)

8 ) If you're visiting this post from somewhere else on the Internet why not register and become a member. We would love to have your input.

9 ) Visit a Homeshow, a Boat Show, a Craftfair, A Mall, etc...and make a webpage about your visit. Collect Urls from any vendor who has a website.
Ask questions and get unique content from the people you talk to. Your website will be one of a kind online. Check out http://woodfloorist.com/1/homeshow.html to see how this would look.

That should keep you busy for a while.
